Hey, everyone. Just thought I'd make a journal on a random list that's been on my mind for a long while. Have you ever come across a song that just grinds your gears? Well, these are the songs that just do it for me. Reason why I'm not making a video out of this is...well, copyright issues. Also, this is a very subjective list - if you like these songs, that's perfectly fine! I am not going to insult anyone for that because that is just plain stupid. Some of these tunes are very well-known. And I mean VERY well known. However, my only rule is that I will not include fad songs. Gangnam Style, Friday, The Fox, Sexy and I Know It, songs like those because they're just fads, and like the Nostalgia Critic said: "fad" is just one letter away from "fade." With that, let's begin.

I listen to a lot of Eminem's music. Without Me, Real Slim Shady, We Made You, I fricking love those songs! The way he tears some topics down like that is astonishing. I also really like Cleaning Out My Closet, Just The Way I Am and Lose Yourself, they tackle real-life issues pretty damned well and makes him seem so relatable. But, the one song of his I don't like is arguably his most well-known song: Stan. Don't get me wrong: Stan is a very well made song - I can't count how many times I had the sampled tune play over and over in my head. It's just that the subject matter is way too depressing to me. Even if you compare it to his version of Toy Soldiers, which is about a fellow rapper getting shot. Pretty dark already, but Stan is about a fan who gets overtly obsessed to the point of him killing himself and his pregnant girlfriend. I'm told he based this off of someone who actually did that. If it's true, then it makes me feel even worse about this song.

(I'm not gonna make any friends with this one...)

When it comes to their movies, Disney almost always knock it out of the park. Especially within the Disney Renaissance era - they simply dominated the 90's. One of my favorite Disney movies growing up was Mulan, but looking back on it these days, I did notice the more than obvious flaws it has regarding gender issues. But, knowing a bit about the culture, I do have to applaud Disney for pointing out the aforementioned flaws, however they didn't do it right. Hence my number nine pick, A Girl Worth Fighting For. Most of the song is alright, it's catchy, it's funny - particularly when they pick on the scribe - but then they get to one specific line that makes me infuriated. It's when the three male leads sing about what they want in a woman, then Mulan (disguised as a man) steps up and sings, "How 'bout a girl who's got a brain and always speaks her mind? NAH!" ...even typing that line angers me. Disney, that's not working out a problem, that's laughing at it. Again, I know this is how it was during that time period, but there must have been a much better way of doing this. Degrading women in music is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves when it comes to music, and it will come back up again, I assure you.

Once again, another song I can't seem to avoid - Everything is Awesome. I mentioned this in my Archer Vs. The Lego Movie review, this song was over-played, over-hyped and over repetitive. Then it goes into a spoken word segment where the "singer" just starts shouting out random objects. "Dogs with fleas, allergies/A book of Greek antiquities/Brand new pants, a very old vest/Awesome items are the best!" It's like they just looked through their closet and wrote down what they found. Even if you take that part away, there's a very solid argument that this song promotes facism, though I won't go too far into it. Again, as said in my review, people were insulted when The Lego Movie didn't get nominated for an Oscar. I was insulted when the movie wasn't nominated for an Oscar, yet this song was.

Contrary to popular belief, I enjoy country music. But I can't stand these "bro-country" songs. They're all the exact same damned song over and over and over again. But, one song did stick out in literally all the wrong ways. I'm talking about Billy Currington's 2011 song, Love Me Like My Dog. No, I am not even kidding with that title. There's another country song on this list, but one thing at a time, here. This song is about a man's wife who complains too much, and so he wishes she'd love him like his dog does. "When I leave the seat up he don't think that it's rude/I want you to love me like my dog does, babe!" Yeah, let me compare my wife, who I love so very much, to my DOG! In comparison, Billy Currington also sang pretty damn good love songs like "Must Be Doin' Something Right" and "I've Gotta Feeling." WHAT HAPPENED HERE!? But, to me, the worst "bro-country" song is...

"BABY, YOU A SONG! YOU MAKE ME WANNA ROLL MY WINDOW DOWN AND CRUISE!" ...where do I even start? For the record, that actually is how they sang it. Grammar, be damned. And, once again, this song was EVERYWHERE! Another problem I have with this song is that, while I have no problem with rap songs, making this a bro-country rap song doesn't help in the slightest. "She hopped right up into the cab of my truck/and said, 'Fire it up! Let's go get this thing stuck!'" Even by today's country music standards, that's stupid. Also, the biggest issue I have with this "bro-country" trend is that they're either trying to get drunk or they're trying to get laid. Which goes back to the degenerating women issue. It's just terrible.

The year is 2013. Disney's movie, Frozen, obliterates the box office, making over a billion dollars and becoming the highest grossing animated film of all time. It also made what many people say was one of the most overheard songs of all time, being Let It Go. ...But Despicable Me 2's Happy by Pharrell Williams was played more. I don't know how, but I heard Happy about three times as much as I did Let It Go, and at least as I heard all the YouTube covers of the latter, they were able to mix it up to be different. You can't do anything to save Happy. Another big pet peeve of mine is repetition in lyrics, and this song is a prime example of this. It seems like every line went "Clap along if you feel like..." and it drove me up a wall! (Honk, honk!) I ever hear that line again, it'll be way, way too soon...

Time for an easy entry: what the hell is The Fast Food Song?! Look, I like Pizza Hut, I like McDonalds and I like KFC, but those restaurants does not for a good song make! I thought Happy was repetitive, but this? Ok, here's basically how the song goes: "A Pizza Hut, A Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut, A Pizza Hut, A Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken and A Pizza Hut," over AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! ONLY play this song if you're a sick masochist who enjoys this kind of unrelenting torture!

These are two I didn't want to put these on here, but they're still songs, so it does count. Caillou's Theme and Angela Anaconda's Theme are TERRIBLE! Caillou's Theme is a massive ego stroking about the show's lead, a brat who gets EVERYthing they want, sung with a cloying and irritating voice. Angela Anaconda's Theme is a massive ego stroking about the show's lead, who is a freaking sociopath, sung with a highly irritating voice. Both of these shows are terrible, and so are their theme songs.

You know, I'm really very torn on Nicki Minaj. When she's really good, she's really, really good. Then we get tunes like the infamous Stupid Hoe. This song is just painful on a wide variety of ways. First off, the song is repetitive to no fricking end, repeating the words, "You a stupid hoe" ad nauseum. Secondly, even for a diss track, this song is extremely childish. And thirdly, the music video is almost as strenuous to the eyes as watching the entire series of Problem Solverz. But, this is not the worst song I've heard. That would be...

Love Me by Lil Wayne featuring Drake and Future. Remember when I said that one of my biggest pet peeves is when a song degrades women? Well, this is what happens when you make a song out of that. There is nothing good about this song. Absolutely nothing. From the very second this song began to the very second this song ends, it made it very clear that the song's only goal was to degrade women as much as possible. "She said 'I never want to make you mad/I just want to make you proud'/I said 'Baby just make me cum/Then don't make no sound.'" This song is nothing, and will never be anything, but garbage.

Those are the songs that just make me want to put my head through a wall with anger. Are there any songs that make you feel the same? And what do you think about these songs? Did I pick out a song you like? Or did I pick out a song you agreed on? Leave a thought in the comments below. Thank's for reading, see ya later!~

Don't think about Happy. Think of Weird Al's cover called Tacky, and just sing that whenever that godawful song is on the radio. Only thing that kept me sane on road trips...
